Mansarovar/ New Delhi, May 28 (ANI): On Monday reports emerged that devotees on a pilgrimage to the holy Mansarovar Lake in the Tibet Autonomous Region of China were denied access for a holy dip in the lake. In a video that was posted by a devotee who was currently in Mansarovar claiming that Chinese officials had denied them access to the Lake and requested help from the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and other officials responsible. In a prompt fashion that is synonymous to the Ministry of External Affairs, the matter was looked into and solved on Monday itself. Sushma Swaraj in a press conference on Monday responded to the Mansarovar fiasco saying, "I got a tweet from someone who was visiting Mansarovar. They were not being allowed to take a holy dip in the Mansarovar jheel. This wasn't the situation. There is always a designated place where you can take a bath, you cannot take a dip anywhere in the river."
